Aerospatiale AS-350

Aerospatiale AS-350

The AS-350 was developed by Aerospatiale in the early 1970s, an Avco Lycoming powered prototype first flying on 27 June 1974, followed by a Turbomeca Arriel version on 14 February 1975.

Customer deliveries of the Ecureuil (Squirrel) began in April 1978.

The Ecureuil was intended to replace the Alouette, and to compete with the Bell 206. The type represents one of Europe's most successful civil helicopter designs, and has found numerous overseas markets. It was also produced as the AS-550 Fennec military helicopter.

Eurocopter EC-120B

The Colibri EC-120B is a light single-engine helicopter which can carry up to 4 passengers in addition to the pilot. The design of the cabin/luggage hold assembly makes it particularly suitable for widely different types of civilian and parapublic missions.

Very silent and with a very wide cabin featuring excellent visibility, the Colibri's flight comfort is unique in its category.

McDonnell Douglas MD-500D

The MD Helicopters MD 500 series is anamerican family of light utility civilian and military helicopters. The MD 500 originated as the Hughes 500, a civilian version of the US Army's OH-6A Cayuse/Loach.

The improved Hughes 500D became the primary model in 1976, with a more powerful engine, a T-tail, and new five-blade main rotor; a four-blade tail rotor was optional. The 500D was replaced by the 500E from 1982 with a pointed nose and various interior improvements such as greater head and leg room. The 530F was a more powerful version of the 500E optimised for hot and high work.

McDonnell Douglas acquired Hughes Helicopters in January 1984, and from August 1985 the 500 series were built as the MD 500 series.
